SOLD* This interesting and very delightful patchwork piece was used to decorate the tent, yurt or house. These pieces were also used as eating cloths during special occasions. It is from Northern Afghanistan and dates to the first half of the 20th century, probably from the Ersari group of Turkmen people. The work is produced from various pieces of chintz, cotton and silk. Nothing went to waste in the culture of these people. The dimensions are 34" x 34". There are a few light stains and blemishes, otherwise very nice condition. *SOLD
