A fabulous antique bagh (wedding headcover/shawl) is amazing in every repect. Wonderful dyes, and floss silk embroidery. It is a true piece of art which would have taken a very long time to create. Only about an inch or two of the 'khaddar' cotton ground was left unembroidered at each end. A truely stunning example dating to the early 20th century. All of the work was done from the back side by counting the threads of the cotton ground cloth, to know where to place the needle for the desired design. Price on Request
