A stunning Bagh, with floss silk embroidery displaying a repeated diamond pattern, known as 'shishsa patang' or mirror design. The surface of this amazing textile has been completely embroidered in white and light copper silk, only revealing the maroon cotton ground material at the very ends. A very collectable example of amazing needlework from the women of the Punjab at the turn of the 20th century. This work has now become a lost art. Price on Request
