SOLD Very beautiful and rare embroidered panels with inscriptions, circa 1900 or before, Kyrgyz people, Pamir Range, Wakhan, Afghanistan. Two panels sewn together of silk emboidery on black velvet with an amazing array of colors and designs. This example has very good age and likely dates to the 19th century. Condition is good, although there is wear, mostly to the corners. The inscriptions are blessings for the household. Dimensions provided shortly. SOLD
