Handsome antique ikat chapan, late 19th century, Uzbekistan. Silk warp and weft. This example displays large red roundels with rows of red and yellow scorpions placed on a white background. An inticate silk embroidered trim surrounds the exterior, and it is lined with cotton chintz. A nice exmple with a somewhat rare design. Price on Request
