A wonderful women's festival choli (blouse) from the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Floss silk embroidery work displaying floral forms and vines are placed on an indigo ground of homespun cotton. There are areas where the silk has corroded due to age and wear, but still a very lovely ethnographic example. Price on Request
