A whimsical sandstone lion in traditional Indian guardian style, circa 1800 or before, Rajasthan, India. 10" tall. Some remaining red pigment near the mouth, but the moss is now dried and gone. Purchased in Jodhpur, in 1992 and has been in my collection ever since. Lovely little sculpture. Price on Request
