A beautifully shaped terracotta small figure of a bird, circa 3200 to 2500 BCE., Mehrgarh culture, Indus Valley. This elegant little bird figure still shows remnants of white slip, with a wonderful, pinkish patina. The condition is very nice. A interesting and collectable example, as bird figures are often seen as slip painted decoation, but seldom seen as small figurines. Price on Request
