SOLD A fantastic example of nomadic Shahsavan group soumak embroidery, circa 1870 or before, NW Persian. The soumak work is inpeccable and the dyes and condition are the same. The diagonal stripes contain 'pinwheels' which flow from top left to bottom right. The backing is of indigo and dark brown, horizontal stripes. Near mint condition. SOLD
