This beautiful flatwoven example was produced in the Kuba district of Eastern Azerbaijan around 1880, using lanolin rich, spongy wool and natural dyes. It displays the classic  Kuba stylized 'palmette' design, framed by a very nicely drawn border. The condition, design and colors are all excellent. This kilim has been in my collection for over twenty years. Price on Request.
