An absolutely wonderful example of the work from the nomadic Luri group, late 19th century, Kerman Province, South Persia. Beautiful shiny wool, natural dyes and full pile condition. The filler motifs between the ivory diamond designs are to be noticed, as is the deeply saturated color. Even the closure tabs along the bottom are very nicely finished. All the best materials went into producing this lovely and collectable example. Price on Request
