A very beautiful bagface from one of the Kurdish groups, late 19th century, Northwest Persia. All natural dyes were used with spongy, glossy wool. The design is interesting with an unusual center rectangle containing a hooked device and filler motifs. The borders compliment each other both in size and decoration. The closure tabs are all intact, and the upper panel dislaying quartered regtangles is a nice feature. The piece is in great, full condition. Price on Request
