A very nice 12 'gul' chuval, or transport/storage bagface, Ersari group, Lower Amu Darya, Turkmenistan. All natural dyes and very glossy wool with a sloppy handle. It's unusual the minor 'guls' are a bit larger than the majors, creating a nice balance. This example displays beautiful shades of indigo blue, madder, yellow with undyed brown and ivory. The termination of the main border running through the 'elem' panel is very unusual. I don't recall seeing another chuval drawn like this. The floral forms in the lower 'elem' panel are spacious and nicely drawn. Missing just a tad at the bottom. Nice, presentable condition. Price on Request
