SOLD A nice embroidered soumak bagface, circa 1900, South Caucasus, Azerbaijan. The work and design are well executed, with all natural dyes, with the exception of the orange which appears to be an early synthetic chrome dye, widely used throughout the Caucasus during the turn of the 20th century. This bagface is in nice condition, though would benefit from a good wash. SOLD
