A very beautiful 'chanteh', circa late 19th century, Baluch people, Western Afghanistan. This bag has been opened to reveal it's fine, kelim flatwoven backing. All natural dyes and very glossy wool with 'memling gul' design. Great indigo blues, madder reds, yellow, ivory and deep aubergine. A handsome example in nice condition. Price on Request
