An interesting bagface, circa 1880, Baluch group, Western Afghanistan. All natural dyes of indigo and madder. The handle is very soft and floppy. This example has a very nice drawing, with wonderful optical effects as the eye scans the design to read it differently. There is wear and re-overcasting of the sides, but still a charming, collectable example with very good age. SOLD
