A very beautiful bagface, circa 1900, one of the Baluch groups, possibly Timuri, Western Afghanistan. Very nice shiny wool and great natural dyes. This example displays a naive interpretation of the 'shrub lattice' design, which has been nicely drawn with indigo blues, madder reds, ivory and olive brown. A nice example in very good condition.
