A wonderful flatwoven small 'khorjin', circa late 19th century, Afshar tribe, Fars Province, Southwest Persia. All naturals dyes and great wool. Decorated with a repeating diamond design in red and blue, with the center diamonds of each face embellished with ivory. The borders are simplistically drawn in away which compliment the field. All the closure tabs and loops are intact. Varying shades of indigo blue, green, red and ivory are used throughout. A fine collectable example. Price on Request
