A charming example of a young boy's festival costume, mid-20th century or earlier, Kutch or Rajasthan, India. The example displays wonderful festive colors and traditional designs. Cotton embroidery on cotton usually worn over white leggings. The piece shows some fade due to UV light, which actually mellows the colors, otherwise excellent condition.
