Embroidery India/Pakistan | Old Silk Embroidered Blue Gaj

A truly stunning old silk embroidered 'gaj' or dress front, circa 1940's of before, Sindh, Pakistan. This is a rare and beautiful example with very fine silk embroidery and embellished with mica mirrors. This interesting piece is worked with sky blue, medium green, apricot, deep maroon purple, yellow, sage green and ivory. The condition is excellent for its age. Even the backing is beautiful. The dimensions are 29.5" x 18" (75cm x 46cm). A rare and very collectable example in wonderful conditiion. Price on Request
