A very beautiful and quite stunning 'choli' or blouse front, early 20th century, Barmer district, Thar Desert, Rajasthan, India. A wonderful example with both silk and silver metal thread embroidery work on silk ground with cotton back. There is also very fine hurmitch interlocking stitches. A collectable piece which would be fabulous mounted on s stretcher and displayed like the piece of art that is. Price and dimensions on request.
