Embroidery India/Pakistan | Antique Silk Embroidered Tunic

A beautiful antique silk embroidered on satin tunic (chola), circa early 20th century, from Dadu area of Thano Bula Khan, Sindh, West Pakistan. Extremely fine silk work displaying wonderful designs and colors. Most likely made by a young bride, sometimes with her mother's help, for her wedding day. I believe yellow ground examples such as this, were made for the henna ceremony.These have become somewhat rare, and this example is quite special. Contact us for condition report and dimensions.
