A very handsome floss silk embroidered panel, circa 1900, Upper Sindh, Pakistan. This fine and unusual example has been embroidered in floss silk using a beautiful crimson red and deep forest green, very traditional colors for the Upper Sindh region. The size and shape leave one wondering what was its intended use? The condition is excellent with little wear or corrsion one often sees in pieces of this age. It has obviously been lovingly cared for over the years. The dimensions are 34.5" x 20" (87cm x 50cm). SOLD
