Museum quality Indus Valley terracotta jar with lid, Mehrgarh Culture, Indus Valley, Pakistan. Circa 3500 BC to 2600 BC. Wheel thrown and slip-painted with zebu bulls and plant forms, and geometric designs decorating the exterior. The lid is decorated with two opposing fish. It is very rare to find a vessel with the original lid, let alone intact. The ancient patina is smooth and beautiful. Exquisite example. Price on Request
