A beautiful terracotta jar, Indus Valley civilization, circa 3200 to 2000 BCE, South Asia. This jar has been decorated with yellow and red pigments on a white slip. The designs are made up of repeating triangles, half circles and linear motifs. The are some chips to the mouth, otherwise in good, intact condition. A very nice, collectable example.
