Ceramics | Ancient Arab Oil Lamp

This wonderful ceramic oil lamp dates to the late 8th to early 9th century, Fostat, Egypt. It has a gem like quality to the glaze, with hues of green, blue and a sparkely iridescence. There is some loss to the rim, otherwise the condition is nice. It measures about 4" long. This piece has excellent provenance from an old Cairo/Paris collection. Price on Request
