A rare and beautifully glazed star shaped ceramic tile, 13th to 14th century, from the area of ancient Raghes, Persia, which is in the vicinity of present day Tehran. It measures 7"1/2 diameter. This wonderful example displays  excellent glazing technique with numerous colors, intricate designs and gold gilting. It has been expertly repaired. Price on Request
