A handsome and unique embroidered and applique folding bag, circa 1st 3rd 20th century, Banjara community, Madhya Pradesh, Central India. This is a charming small bag worked in fine brich stitch and applique. The colors of the brick stitch work are vibrant, and the colors of the applique are very soft, creating a beautiful contrast. It is an unusual color combination. The dimensions are 7.5" x 5" opened. The nice, collectable example in very good condition. Price on Request
