Museum quality Indus Valley terracotta jar with lid, Mehrgarh Culture, Indus Valley, Pakistan. Circa 3500 BC to 2600 BC. Slip-painted zebu bulls and plant forms, with geometric and curvilinear designs decorating the exterior. The lid is decorated with two large fish. It is quite rare to find the original lid and jar still together, let alone intact. The ancient patina is smooth, glossy and beautiful. Price on Request
